OK confession: I might be even more excited about my honeymoon planning than I am about the wedding!! FI is too so I'm not too horrible of a person for saying that :) We're taking an 11-night Eastern Mediterranean cruise followed by three nights in Florence, Italy! Here's our itinerary:
- Nov 7: Travel to Rome
- Nov 8: Arrive Rome
- Nov 9: Cruise departs from Rome
- Nov 10: At Sea
- Nov 11: Santorini, Greece
- Nov 12: Mykonos, Greece
- Nov 13: Istanbul, Turkey
- Nov 14: Istanbul, Turkey
- Nov 15: Kusadasi, Turkey
- Nov 16: At Sea
- Nov 17: Athens, Greece
- Nov 18: At Sea
- Nov 19: Naples, Italy
- Nov 20: Return to Rome, depart cruise, take train to Florence
- Nov 21: Tuscany wine tour
- Nov 22: Tour Pisa and Florence
- Nov 23: Return home
We'll be sailing on a brand new cruise ship, Celebrity Solstice! It's the first cruise ship to have real grass on the top deck (not sure why you'd need that, but a neat fact I guess). Here's a look at the ship and our stateroom:
