Crappy picture of how our centerpieces will look.  They'll use our bouquet flowers instead of the carnations you see here, but you get the idea.  Flowers on top part of candelabra with tall branches giving it height, surrounded by ivory votives.

OK, change of plans on our centerpiece flowers. Here's a not-so-great camera phone picture of the candelabras I bought for our centerpieces.  I got 16 of them at a truly unbelievable price when Kirkland's was closing at Oxford Valley Mall.  They're about 16" high.  We're going to work in flowers somehow...probably around the bottom and maybe work them into the center part too?  Not sure how really but we're meeting with the florist in a few weeks to do some mocks.

Another update -- we went for mockups of our centerpieces and bridesmaid bouquets.  I couldn't be happier.  Tammy at Dom Graziano's did an awesome job.  Here are two shots of our bridesmaid bouquets.  They're yellow freesia, black magic roses, purple mini callas, hypericum berries, and the multicolored roses I love so much.  We'll be reducing the size of these but otherwise it'll remain intact:

Our old centerpieces -- still love the idea and would be using them if we hadn't found the candelabras:

Update -- we went for our first meeting with a florist and I decided on my bouquet!  I'll carry 36 Picasso mini calla lilies with a bit of green around them.  I never thought I wanted white flowers but these have the perfect pop of color (and will match our bridesmaid dresses) and really felt bridal.  Here's a pic of the flowers, the bouquet will be tighter than this and I'll be using leftover bridesmaid dress fabric to wrap the stems.

I adore fall colors and my bridesmaids will have a bouquet full of reds, purples, oranges, and yellows.  I love, love roses like this and we're incorporating them into the bouquets and they'll also be our groomsmen boutonnieres.
We'll be placing the bridesmaid's bouquets into vases for the decoration on the head table.  We'll add some candles and rose petals and that'll be it for the head table, sort of trying to get this feeling though we'll have more fall colors:
